Sierra Lynn (or Sierra Smith) is a passionate creative that specializes in writing and world building, as well as analyzing pop-culture and educating masses about media literacy. She is currently enrolled in Arizona State University through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Technical Communications. She has acquired an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Dutchess Community College, as well as a certificate of completion for Cosmetology through a Technical School.
Graduating DCC during the peak COVID years, Sierra’s ability to explore the media world at more than just face value has improved greatly. She participates in assisting her community online and offline, engaging in volunteer work and curating positive interactions within her circles. Her creative mind has always been a feat and special part of her, an ability that blossomed when she was young but continues to grow as she explores more of the world.
Sierra’s goal with this blog site is to reach new heights and engage in more fandom and general spaces that have made her feel at home. She hopes to create a site that is not only her “home” base, but a trusted and open source of information for her community and beyond. Open communication, willingness to learn or change opinions based on facts, and patience with not only yourself but with others are important values of education that she hopes will assist people in looking outside of their comfort zones.
