Growing up in online spaces with little-to-no expertise and living by the motto of “just winging it”, I am a firm believer that everyone deserves a safe, comfortable space in their online community. We, as individuals, curate our online experience from the moment we pick up our devices and log into the World Wide Web.
I expect people to treat each other with respect. My blog is a safe place for people to explain their feelings in a manner where we are tolerant, can be civil (with the exception of aggressors, which will be handled by moderators or myself). I implore those engaging with my page to speak out against hate speech of their own volition but not poke the bear in a way that will cause the possibility of harm to one’s person.
Rules and Guidelines of Scrolling By:
- No discriminatory remarks, including, but not limited to: Ableism, Racism, Homophobic or Transphobia. This is a place for people that come from many different backgrounds.
- Harassment will not be tolerated.
- Only engage in content you are absolutely sure you can be civil about. I understand there is a place for passionate anger about a subject you disagree about, however, please keep your emotions in tact and remain civil for the sake of adult discussion.
- See something? Say something. Report all violations of guidelines, especially those that seem threatening, to the owner of the blog, Lynn. If you feel you are in immediate danger, contact 9-1-1.
- A non-stop flow of constant content can be triggering, take a break and know when to stop scrolling.
- No spam or solicitation.
- Please do not share personal, identifiable information of yourselves, the blog moderators or owner.
- NO deliberate NSFW content. This is a public page, while some content I discuss on here may be in that ball park, it is purely educational and not meant to spark inappropriate talk.
I’m always appreciative of anyone who takes the time out of their day to read my work. But I ask that we take care of ourselves and each other.
